D.El.Ed.- Diploma in Elementary Education

Course duration – 2 year

Eligibility:

• Candidates may take the admission exam for the two-year D.El.Ed. program (D.El.Ed. Joint Entrance Test) if they received at least 50% in the higher secondary (+2) exam or its equivalent.
• According to the regulations of the federal government or the state government, as appropriate, seats will be reserved and marks will be lowered for SC, ST, OBC, PWD, and other groups.
• The minimum required score for candidates in the ST/SC and disabled categories will be lowered by 5%.
• Age restriction: As of January during the academic year, the minimum age for all categories will be 17.

Admission Procedure:

• Admission will be granted on the basis of academic merit, interview/counseling, and scores from the D.El.Ed. Joint Entrance Test administered by the Bihar School Examination Board Patna.
• Only applicants whose applications are judged to be fully complete in every way will be permitted to take the admission exam.
• The D.El.Ed. Joint Entrance Test application form must be completed online. It is recommended that candidates review the instructions provided on the BSEB website and in the prospectus.
• Candidates must upload a copy of their Matric, Intermediate, or equivalent marks sheet in jpeg format to a designated location. It is recommended that they have these documents on hand when completing the D.El.Ed. Joint Entrance Test form.

Fee structure:

• D.El.Ed 1st Year – 60,000.00
• D.El.Ed 2nd Year – 60,000.00
